Nursery Progress!

24 Weeks! (can you tell I like this shirt? wore it for two weeks in a row on Saturday apparently!)

25 Weeks!

We were able to get everything out of the old office (baby room!) and moved to it's new location in one of our guest bedrooms this week. It was nice because Zach and I were able to organize papers and find a place for everything we had just stuffed into that room since we moved in last year.

Beginning stages of painting. We did one wall a chocolate brown color and the other three a sage green. Lauri, Mike and Zach did all the painting-it was a HUGE help, thanks to all of you!

Uncle Mike knocking out some trim-work.

Soon-to-be Daddy trying to figure out the crib directions! (They put the crib up in RECORD time...I've always heard what a pain they are to put together, but not for my hubby and his brother!)

They wouldn't let me come into the baby's room until they had it all put together, they wanted me to see the finished product; it was pretty sweet of them.

They took pictures for me of the progress along the way, because they know how much I love to have pics! (-:

Wally staking out his spot in Peanut's room! Guard dog right next to the crib...

Crib all put up and my new chair ready to rock! I decided to go with a lazy boy instead of a glider rocker-it was just so much more comfortable and I loved the color-it fits nicely with the rest of the room's deocr.

New dresser (we are using the top of it as a changing table too). Zach and I had been discussing this dresser all day and I didn't think we were going to get it (at least not today anyway) and when he went to pick up my chair at the store, he surprised me and came home with the dresser too! What a sweetie. He's so good to me!

So, a lot of progress has been made this week. I feel much better about where the baby room stands now as opposed to a week ago! Thanks for all of your help family!

23 Weeks

Time is flying by so quickly it seems. I started cleaning out the office this weekend in preparation for it becoming the baby room!! It's so exciting! We also went crib shopping today - and we actually found one we LOVE and it was in stock, so it's sitting in our entryway in the box, ready to be put together later!! It's really nice, here's the link to see a picture of it: http://suitebebe.com/products.html

Can't wait to get started decorating his room!

22 Weeks and New Year's

Playing games on New Year's Eve. We had a few friends over and watched the Cyclones win and then played some games to bring in the new year. It was very low key but fun!

More of the gang!

22 weeks. Not the best picture of me, but hey, at least I got one taken! I'm really bad at this! ugh... This week Zach was able to feel the little Peanut kick for the first time! It was so neat, we were laying in bed (he's usually pretty active when I'm laying down right before bed) and he felt him kicking. He said it's not the feeling he was expecting (I think he was expecting a HUGE kick, but it was more like a tap or nudge!)... Also this week, I can see my tummy moving as he's kicking; it's so amazing how a life is growing and moving around in there! (-: I can't wait to meet him!

21 Weeks

I've been really bad about getting pictures on the same day of each week...(I really wanted to be wearing the same shirt in all of them so we could really see the difference in the size, but apparently I'm not that organized!) But this is me at 21 weeks. We were able to have the Reed Family Christmas at our house this year. It was so fun having the family together-we ate some great meals (thanks Zach, mom, Manda and girls for helping out with that!), went to church, watched some Family Vacation (of course!) and had an all around great time hanging out together!

Dad and I!

Mom and me!

The kids: Bridget, Zach, Anna, Cally, Manda and Chaz

The boys opening their present from Grandma and Grandpa Reed! They loved their bones and treats!!!

I forgot to post something on my 20 week post- a day before I was 20 weeks I was able to feel the little guy kicking me! It is SUCH an amazing feeling! Before then, I thought I may have been able to feel him, but I knew FOR SURE it was him on that day! They're just little nudges, but movement nonetheless! It's wonderful! He's not strong enough for Zach to feel him yet, but soon he will be!

20 weeks

This is little Peanut's first stocking, thanks to Grandma Larson! (-: He got so many cute things for Christmas...I can't wait to start decorating his room and get it all organized.

Brad, Mike, Linds, Zach and I enjoying family time together!

Christmas went "to the dogs" this year...from the left we have: Scooter, Forte, Reese, Charlie, CoCo, Breckin and Wally. They were all really good and enjoyed playing together. Can't believe we got them all to sit still for this picture! Not gonna lie, there was some bribing involved! uh-oh...it's starting already...my parenting skills need work, that's for sure!

Peanut and I at 20 weeks!
