19 weeks

I simply cannot believe that it's just TWELVE short days until Christmas! I don't have nearly enough of my shopping done. I am trying to keep in mind the real meaning behind this holiday-that Jesus was sent to us as a little baby in a manger!

My belly is growing (and fast!). I looked down this week and could see my belly poking out more than anything else, and that was weird!! We have our ultrasound this week, so I should get some good shots of him to share with everyone (if he cooperates!)...

This weekend I got together with one of my friends for our annual baking day; it was so fun, we made sugar cookies, chex mix and almond bark pretzels... so yummy! Thanks for a fun afternoon Trish!

18 weeks and our first Christmas tree!

Baby belly: 18 weeks! He loves Christmas, cause his mama does!



Zach looking for the perfect tree! He is so picky, we walked ALL over the 30 acre tree farm until we found THE tree.



Working on chopping it down (I had to find a secluded area to go to the bathroom in the woods while he did this...that baby was bouncing right on my bladder, and it was cold!) (-;




Hauling it away! It looks beautiful in our entryway. Although, we did have a disaster the night we brought it home. It stayed up just fine all day in the tree stand, but somehow decided to fall over (tree stand and all) in the middle of the night. So, we woke up to a tree down in our house! The water from the stand went all over and warped the wood floor a bit, but...after we spent another hour and half making it level again, it has stayed thus far! There were pine needles EVERYWHERE... but it smells SO good!

17 weeks

Just thought I'd post a pic of when I was 17 weeks. (A little late)...

Also, Zach has been working hard in the garage building shelves so we can be more organized. The boys decided to check them out (mommy was not happy about this development, but thankfully I wasn't out there most of the time they were up there!).

Preggers!

It's high time I made an update-I know it's been way too long but I didn't really feel like I had much to blog about -- until now! I am 16 1/2 weeks pregnant and wanted to post a picture so you all could see my growing belly! I will try to post weekly updates so you can watch it grow.

The baby is about the size of an avocado this week; he is moving all around, although I can't feel him yet. I've been peeking at him at work and he has the longest legs!! He's going to be a tall skinny little thing when he's born I have a feeling. It's been fun to look around at all the baby stuff that is out there-so much to think about it seems, the crib, stroller, car seat just to name a few! Whew...it makes me tired just thinking about it.

I've been feeling great lately for the most part; I think the morning sickness is behind me finally. I still haven't quite gained all my energy back, but I definitely have more than I did even a few weeks ago.
